A very charming portrait, oil on canvas, of a French priest, aged 77, painted in the provincial style. Benefiting from a strong palette of black and green, it is dated on the back 1828.
A small amount of wear and tear, it is otherwise in good vintage condition given it is nearly 200 years old.
Beautiful set of table top drawers in pine originally used in the administration offices of London’s Chelsea Town Hall.

Classic vintage pine farmhouse table. This table is of a good size, and very deep, able to accommodate 4 people comfortably. The light coloured top and painted legs are very attractive and easy to pair with any interior. It benefits from a beautiful very large and deep drawer.

This is a very attractive and unusual beaten metal money box from the 19th century. Its shape is untouched despite its age, and it is beautifully made with a bombe top. T
here is a little catch where a padlock would have been used to secure the money, and an attractive trim all round the edge.
It shows vintage imperfections such as a few knocks and scratches commensurate with age, but it is otherwise a very delicate item.

Charming little bank of table top drawers. Probably from the 1940s, it is made of plywood surround covered with a beautifully aged brown paper and pretty brass handles.
The drawers are plywood with cardboard base.
Each of the four drawers is of equal size and provides great storage for small items. This piece is ideal for use in an office, a bedroom as jewellery storage, or can serve as a variety of other purposes.
Utterly charming mid 19th century French portrait of a lady, oil on canvas.
This is a beautiful female portrait seen in profile, wearing a cameo brooch, earrings and flowers in her hair. It is a lovely painting from the French realism movement of the mid 19th century.
Thin canvas displaying signs of age (not visible when hung), which could be relined if desired, although we find that this French piece is intensely charming left as is.
This is a very unusual set of four rustic drawers with numbers showing at the front of each drawer. This item was bought as it is, but we found out that the drawers were in fact originally reversed, as on the other side of each drawer, there is evidence of a previous handle. Although there are no handles to the front now and therefore the drawers need not to be pushed all the way, we totally fell for their stunning rustic appeal.
These beautiful drawers were most probably used on an old shop counter or in an haberdashery shop. Today, they are a great storage solution for medium size items and would enhance any interior.

Very attractive still life of white roses, oil on board, beautifully executed with impasto brush strokes giving it an incredible texture, in lovely subdued tones.
This is a very beautiful French gilt fauteuil from the earlier 19th century.
The chair is typical of the Louis XV style, and is of a large and robust size, designed to accommodate the width and breadth of the fulsome dresses of the time.
It is upholstered in a beautiful Abbott & Boyd fabric and has been recently re-sprung. It is strong and sturdy and in fabulous condition for its age, with just the right amount of wear, giving it a stunning patina over the gilt.
A perfect as a very decorative bedroom chair, or an additional chair for the sitting room. A lovely classic piece which would make a real statement in any room.

Incredibly attractive and good-sized English still life, oil on canvas, from the 19th century. This painting depicts flowers, grapes and a shell and is signed John Herbert.
Very nicely executed, this beautiful painting has a subtle colour palette with deep hues. It has some small patches of paint or varnish loss that are difficult to detect unless standing very close, though this is part of its incredible character.
At some point this piece was relined on the back, a sign of good quality.
We love the age and charming atmosphere it exudes.
