Antique French game shelf

This is a lovely vintage shelf with hooks in an attractive classic French colour.    These antique shelves were used to hang game in the kitchen or pantry.

In general good condition and probably dating back to the late 19th century,  the antique rack still retains its original hooks and paint giving it a beautiful patina.

There are two original eyelets on the top of the shelf for it to be affixed to the wall.

A great addition to a hallway, kitchen or bathroom, and an equally great item for the children’s bedroom.
