1930s educational poster – the black pepper
Gorgeous poster of a painting of a black pepper by artist Josef Unger from Brno, Czechoslovakia. Printed in the 1930s/40s by the state publishing house Malantrich and used for botanical education in state schools and in nursing, covering the medicinal roles of plants. In lovely colours, the poster is supported by the original pine rods at the top and bottom, with a hanging hook. A rare find and would look fabulous in any room.
