Attractive late 19th century French corner cupboard in its original paint. There are lovely elegant proportions to this cupboard and it retains its pretty little key lock, catch and eyelets.
The inside has been left as found, with character. It could either be left as is, or the beautiful heart-shaped shelves could be painted.
Ideal storage for a little corner in the bathroom, or anywhere in the house.

Pair of attractive stoneware. These pots were used by French butchers to store and sell terrine. They have a wonderful patina and colour, and the shape is very pleasing.
Today they would look stylish in the modern home as pen holders or just as decorative items in the kitchen.

This is a gorgeous rustic French round basket in very good condition. The basket has two little handles and a beautiful rustic weave. Lovely and very decorative shape.
Beautiful turn of the century housekeeper’s wooden cleaning “tidy”. This would have been used by servants to hold cleaning items for looking after fireplaces and floors amongst other things.
There is a removable tray at the top with small compartments for less bulky items, making it a very practical and highly decorative object.
This is a stunning item in immaculate condition with a lovely delicate but sturdy handle to carry it with.
This is a lovely early 20th century French vegetable rack. This vintage wire rack free stands on four feet.

Beautiful primitive late 19th century French wooden cutting board. It is very thick and heavy with a characterful patina, showing years of use. It has a hole from which it can be hung if desired.
These rustic boards were mostly home made and carved from a single piece of wood. Today, as well as looking fabulous in the kitchen, they are an excellent everyday item.
A true farmhouse kitchen staple with immense character.
Attractive pair of pressed flowers, both collected during the same 1939 expedition by Swedish botanist Torvald Fransson. These are lovely pieces of artwork, both in good vintage condition (with slight discoloration of the paper that is evidence of its pre-war heritage). One is a pressed root, stalk and flower of the yellow star of Bethlehem, a Eurasian flowering plant species in the family Liliaceae. It is widespread in central Europe with scattered populations in Great Britain, Spain and Norway to Siberia and Japan. This was collected in Vaggeryd, a small community in the south of Sweden and pressed on 22 April 1939. The second is a root, stalk and flower of red clover (Trifolium Pratense), a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwest Africa, This was also collected by the same botanist in the same area, pressed on 15 June 1939.
The detailed description of the annotations on each page adds to the interest and appeal.
Would look wonderful properly framed or very simply hung on a peg.

These vintage restaurant drawers are in excellent condition. Originally for cutlery and napkins, the drawer would make an interesting item for the home, perhaps as a ‘tidy’ for the kitchen, study or even studio to store all sorts of paraphernalia.
There are three compartments and a little shelf on top.

Probably from the 1950s, this is a superb just off white industrial iron medical apothecary cabinet in great vintage condition.
The bottom cupboard has the original timber shelf, whilst the top glass section of the cabinet has one glass shelf. More glass shelves can be easily added if required. The top and bottom double doors are secured with turning hooks.
There is a little bit of rusting and a few knocks on the paint finish here and there, but this adds to the vintage mid century authenticity of the piece, and are by no means extensive. The piece is generally in good vintage condition.
The cabinet would make a stunning addition to a large bathroom or kitchen, or a fantastically cool bookcase.
We love the off white original paint finish, easily fitting in all home colour schemes.

Fabulous rustic continental cupboard in original paint.
The cupboard has two doors with an internal shelf behind, and a practical drawer at the top with original handles. More shelving could easily be added internally, though these types of cupboard are often adapted to make small wardrobes by adding a hanging pole beneath the existing shelf.
Aside from unusually retaining its original feet, what is most striking about this piece is the original, stunning paint, with evidence of the original blue and white overlaid about 100 years ago with a stunning deep ochre.
Offering capacious and flexible storage, this is a very stylish and original piece that would make a statement in any room.
