Stunning pair of botanical pressed flowers, Polygala Vulgaris (Common milkwort) and Lamium Purpureum (Red deadnettle) collected by two different botanists, Lisa Peterson and Irene Pettersson on two different expeditions, in 1938 and 1941.
These antique herbarium are lovely pieces of artwork, both in good vintage condition (with slight discoloration of the paper).
The detailed description of the annotations on each page adds to the interest and appeal.
Would look wonderful properly framed or very simply hung on a peg.
This is a beautiful French painted shelf with drawers from the end of the 19th century. In excellent vintage condition, each of the six storage drawers has a hook beneath.
Lovely details to the front of the drawers with original ceramic knobs.
A striking vintage piece that would look fabulous in the kitchen, or the hallway as a coat rack and accessory storage, or which would even work well in the bathroom to hang towels and robes and tidy away an array of bits and bobs.

Fabulous country French cupboard from the 19th century.
This pine cupboard has a single door, and two very deep shelves inside (more shelving could easily be added internally if required).
Aside from retaining its original paint, the cupboard benefits from its original lock and key. We love the internal wallpaper, which adds tremendous charm to this French classic.
Offering capacious and flexible storage, with beautiful proportions, this is a very stylish piece that would make a statement in a kitchen as a pantry cupboard or just a linen press in the bedroom.

This is a very unusual set of four rustic drawers with numbers showing at the front of each drawer. This item was bought as it is, but we found out that the drawers were in fact originally reversed, as on the other side of each drawer, there is evidence of a previous handle. Although there are no handles to the front now and therefore the drawers need not to be pushed all the way, we totally fell for their stunning rustic appeal.
These beautiful drawers were most probably used on an old shop counter or in an haberdashery shop. Today, they are a great storage solution for medium size items and would enhance any interior.

A very charming portrait, oil on canvas, of a French priest, aged 77, painted in the provincial style. Benefiting from a strong palette of black and green, it is dated on the back 1828.
A small amount of wear and tear, it is otherwise in good vintage condition given it is nearly 200 years old.
Beautiful set of table top drawers in pine originally used in the administration offices of London’s Chelsea Town Hall.
It is of a large size and comprises six practical drawers, each of which is fitted with small pretty vintage handles (although added at a later stage).
This piece is in good vintage condition throughout, and is ideal for use in an office as a stationery box, as jewellery storage or can serve a variety of other purposes.
Very attractive and beautifully made late Victorian painted chest in original green paint.
It retains its original box compartment inside, its iron padlock clasp, iron reinforced corners and sides, hinges and handles. There are a couple of lovely original labels on the top saying “Doncaster Centre”.
Beautiful vintage condition with the right amount of wear to give that loved appeal.
Of a lovely size this piece provides plenty of storage making it an ideal piece for household items, or a stylish carpenter’s tool box or children’s toy box.

Beautiful primitive late 19th century French wooden cutting board. It is very thick and heavy with a characterful patina. It is in excellent overall vintage condition, despite a small chip in the corner.
These rustic boards were mostly home made and carved from a single piece of wood. Today, as well as looking fabulous in the kitchen, they are an excellent everyday item.
A true farmhouse kitchen staple with immense character.
Gorgeous black early 20th century Nolta-Lux Bakelite desk lamp with gooseneck from Germany in Bauhaus style. In generally good condition, despite some rust to the neck.
The base is very heavy and it has a flexible neck. Pat tested.
