This is a very attractive and unusual beaten metal money box from the 19th century. Its shape is untouched despite its age, and it is beautifully made with a bombe top. T
here is a little catch where a padlock would have been used to secure the money, and an attractive trim all round the edge.
It shows vintage imperfections such as a few knocks and scratches commensurate with age, but it is otherwise a very delicate item.
These are lovely little grey painted vintage shelves. They would be perfect for organising a desk or displaying your favourite items or books, or even storing magazines.
Some vintage imperfections adding character to this piece.
This is a lovely French demijohn metal basket in original condition with great patina. These metal baskets (circa 1900s) were designed to house antique bottles.
Today, they make attractive decorative pieces indoors or outdoors, or can be used as industrial metal lampshades.
The demijohn basket is metal riveted and generally in good condition for its age.
This is a great set of industrial filing drawers from the 1950s comprising 4 drawers, all of which run smoothly. The drawers have a solid bottom, providing practical storage for small items.
A great piece, in a very deep green colour (nearly black) that would look beautiful on a desk for stationary, as well as craft in a studio. Some scratches commensurate with age.
We love the old original labels. (A second identical set is also available on our website).

Stunning and incredibly hard to find set of Art Nouveau standing scales by Salter.
Manufactured between 1890 and 1910, and probably used in an upmarket chemist or doctor’s surgery, this cast iron weighing machine works perfectly with accurate readings up to 16 stone. There is a handle to lift once you are on the standing platform to secure your weight reading – the handle prevents damage to the springs from children jumping up and down on it and, given the accurate readings, this system clearly works!. The rectangular standing platform has the original cloth but this could easily be recovered at minimal cost. The sizeable (14.5 inches diameter) and beautifully simple brass plate with Salter inscribed is very much of the period, as is the slender column with foliated capitals.
This amazing piece would totally transform a stylish family bathroom or boot room, or would be a wonderful prop for a shop or film-set.

Beautiful oak library index card file drawer from the 1940s with original brass furniture. The dovetail joinery is superb and the drawer runs smoothly.
There is a makers mark inside of “Advance Series” and the drawer is shaped.
This is a stunning mid-century item in immaculate condition.
Attractive 1940s mirrored first aid cabinet with shelf, with original faded cream paint and push/pull door knob.
Larger than most medical cabinets we have seen and of good quality, with the first aid cross set under the actual glass rather than painted on. Has been wall hung in the past but the slightly wider base means it would look equally good on a table in the bathroom.

Attractive late 19th century French corner cupboard in its original paint. There are lovely elegant proportions to this cupboard and it retains its pretty little key lock, catch and eyelets.
The inside has been left as found, with character. It could either be left as is, or the beautiful heart-shaped shelves could be painted.
Ideal storage for a little corner in the bathroom, or anywhere in the house.

This is a lovely painted vintage shelf (most probably pine). In good condition and probably dating back to the early 20th century, the rack still retains its original hooks. There are two ‘eyes’ on the top of the shelf for it to be affixed to the wall.
