Characterful old pine desk with drawer to the front, in attractive white paint.
This vintage table has been loved for many decades with signs of age and use and repainted at some later point. It is in excellent condition, although there is some evidence of historic woodworm underneath, but this has been treated.
The slightly tapered legs give it an elegant shape and the white paint makes it easy to fit any interior. A very good sized table that would work beautifully as a very comfortable desk or even a kitchen prep table.

This is a very pretty and typically French still life of flowers in a coffee pot. Dated 1968, the oil on board is signed GV and the name Villard is written on the back.
Attractive late 19th century French corner cupboard in its original paint. There are lovely elegant proportions to this cupboard and it retains its pretty little key lock, catch and eyelets.
The inside has been left as found, with character. It could either be left as is, or the beautiful heart-shaped shelves could be painted.
Ideal storage for a little corner in the bathroom, or anywhere in the house.

Attractive pair of pressed flowers, both collected during the same 1939 expedition by Swedish botanist Torvald Fransson. These are lovely pieces of artwork, both in good vintage condition (with slight discoloration of the paper that is evidence of its pre-war heritage). One is a pressed root, stalk and flower of the yellow star of Bethlehem, a Eurasian flowering plant species in the family Liliaceae. It is widespread in central Europe with scattered populations in Great Britain, Spain and Norway to Siberia and Japan. This was collected in Vaggeryd, a small community in the south of Sweden and pressed on 22 April 1939. The second is a root, stalk and flower of red clover (Trifolium Pratense), a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwest Africa, This was also collected by the same botanist in the same area, pressed on 15 June 1939.
The detailed description of the annotations on each page adds to the interest and appeal.
Would look wonderful properly framed or very simply hung on a peg.
This is a very elegant French armchair from the 19th century. It is beautifully shaped (“Chapeau de Gendarme” style), raised on turned legs. It has been left deconstructed, for your own choice of upholstery, though it is increasingly popular to leave them uncovered.
A very comfortable chair with lovely proportions, strong and sturdy, in good condition.

Very pretty painted 1930s/40s mini haberdashery cabinet. On small bun feet, this pine cabinet features five drawers all with matching knobs, one deep drawer at the bottom for larger items and three of the remaining four are segmented into small compartments for smaller items such as cottons or needles. Perfectly-sized to sit on a table top or on a bedroom side table, this mid-century cabinet could be used either for haberdashery bits and pieces or for jewellery, make-up or indeed for smaller items in the kitchen.
We love its versatility and the way the drawers are segmented. A very pretty and practical piece.
