1930s vintage Kaiser Idell clamp lamp

Beautiful black vintage industrial desk lamp designed by German Bauhaus designer Christian Dell in the 1930s for manufacturer Kaiser Idell.

It features attribution marks with two manufacturers labels, one on the top of the shade and one on the clamp.  It is a very stylish, but equally practical piece with a fully adjustable gooseneck.

Although in overall good vintage condition, the item shows signs of age on the clamp, but the shade is well preserved. The lamp can be clipped on nearly all kind of furniture.

The lamp has been pat tested (with certificate inside the shade) and is in full working order. The cord is black and has a British plug.

Would be ideal for a study desk, but equally striking in the sitting room or as a bedside reading lamp.

Victorian pine painted overmantle mirror

Pretty and very simple vintage overmantle mirror, with attractive bevelling.

We love the strongly speckled mirrored glass – probably original mercury – combined with the simplicity of the frame, making it highly decorative.

Most probably Victorian, the painted mirror has a lovely light duck egg colour, which makes it easy to match with any hues in the home.A

A few odd signs of old and treated woodworm are showing here and there, but are nothing to worry about.

Vintage set of table top drawers

Gorgeous little continental bank of table top drawers with brass knobs.  This exquisite piece was probably a collectors’ cabinet as one drawer has small compartments for specimens.

The drawers are fitted with small brass slightly mismatched knobs.

This is a very charming piece, ideal for use in an office as a stationery box, a bedroom as jewellery storage, or can serve as a variety of other purposes.

It has a couple of small chips, but is generally in good vintage condition.
